You’ll find twelve of my favorite travel gifts below ranging from $14- $314 and everything in between. I hope you”ll find something perfect for some special wanderer in your life. May it bring them cheer all year long. Happy shopping!
leather case
These Clarity Jet Set Cases by Truffle are TSA approved and come in 8 colors including this beautiful Blush. I’ve had one of these on my wish list since the Facebook ads started stalking me two years ago. “You reading this, honey?”
travel jewelry case
This Travel Jewelry Case is perfect for teens and young adults! It comes in so many colors and monogram variations which makes for a super affordable, timeless, and personalized gift that the receiver will hang on to and use for many, many years to come. I got one from my brother three years ago and it makes me smile everytime I bring it out to pack for a trip.
Packable hat
This Eric Javits Squishee Fedora is the perfect splurge for the bougie, sun-loving lady in your life. It’s still one of the most expensive things I’ve ever bought for myself but I can honestly say after wearing it for the past five years that it is worth every last penny. It has been stuffed into so many suitcases and taken such a beating and it still looks like the day I bought it. It simply will not lose its shape.
portable sound machine
This Yogasleep Portable Sound Machine isn’t just for babies. It makes the perfect travel gift for anyone for just under $50. It is the first thing that goes into my husband’s suitcase everytime we travel. You can also get it without the carrying case for less than $30.
packing cubes
These Urban Outfitters Packing Cubes were on my daughter’s Christmas list this year. She’s much more organized than I am and in this adorably girly color palette who can blame her?
travel blanket
The EverSnug Travel Blanket & Pillow is a sensible, practical travel gift for just $30. I love that it slides over your carryon handles so it doesn’t take up any valuable real estate in your tote. I love the idea of pairing this gift with one of the travel perfumes below.
ultimate beach towel
While the Sand Cloud isn’t “technically” a travel gift, it is perfectly packable! I love that it’s so thin that it doubles as a sarong and a wrap on the airplane. I always, always, always bring one on my warm weather trips. They come in a million patterns and colors so they’re really great for any beachlovers on your holiday gift list.
kids plushy travel blanket
A 2-1 Stuffed Travel Blanket is one of the best gifts my daughter ever received. We’ve been using hers for over a decade and I’m not ashamed to say that I bring hers with me even when she’s not along for the ride. Hers is a bear and no longer being sold but this Panda is a very cute second for $25!
travel perfume
Spoiler alert! I’m giving these Anthropologie Travel Perfumes out to all the girls in my life this Christmas. With the cheekiest names like Golden Hour, Road Trip, and Slow Dance and just $14 they make the cutest little gifts or stocking stuffers. The Road Trip and Beach Trip scents are my personal favorites!
A family read
I can’t wait to give this Family Bucket List book out to our adventure-loving family friends this year. I love that it has the potential to spark great big magical adventures – and for under $40!
coffee table book
Full disclosure: this one isn’t my original idea. I received the Tulum version of these incredible Assouline Travel Series coffee table books from a friend for my Birthday this year. It was one of those milestone birthdays that we celebrated by going to Tulum. My heart literally skipped a beat when I received this book in the mail. It is so beautiful! I think of her and that wonderful trip every time I look at it. There are a ton of destinations to choose from and could certainly be the start of a very special collection at $105 per book.
travel hairdryer
Last but not least and assuming you haven’t already blown your entire holiday budget on all the items above, I bring you the beloved L’ange Le Stylist Hairdryer. Again, not technically a travel hairdryer – at just over 1 pound it is the lightest, cutest, and most powerful hairdryer you’ll ever bring with you. Grandma got this for my Daughter last year and we’ve come to share it and always pack it. Don’t buy this when it isn’t on sale. It goes on sale A LOT and usually for as low as $199.
